COVID-19 Update
We want to assure you that High Pointe Dental has the best and most advanced control measures in dentistry. The health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. We are following and staying up to date on all ADA, CDC and state dental guidelines. We consider our dental office to be one of the safest places that you can go right now. We have worked very hard to:
- Follow stringent infection prevention protocols and have increased the frequency in which our common areas are cleaned and sanitized.
- Create a protocol to screen all patients and staff before entering our office.
- Secure proper PPE for our staff.
- Use high evacuation suction for our procedures. This high speed suction removes a high percentage of aerosols.
According to the ADA, “Millions of patients have safely visited their dentists in the past few months for the full range of dental services. With appropriate PPE, dental care should continue to be delivered during global pandemics or other disaster situations.”
Dentistry is essential health care. It is important to have dental checkups and cleanings regularly, in order to detect and manage dental issues at an early stage before they become more serious problems, which could affect the systemic health.
We are here for you. Our goal is to keep you safe and brighten your smiles.
Information Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Avoiding exposure to the virus is the best way to prevent infection. The CDC recommends the following to help prevent the virus:
- Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with anyone who has fever and cough.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, and then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
We ask that all patients and visitors notify us in advance if they feel they are at risk for COVID-19 and to take preventative measures for the safety of themselves and others. If you have flu or cold-like symptoms such as a cough or fever, newly developed shortness of breath, or if you have recently traveled to an area outside the US with known coronavirus (COVID-19) or been in contact with someone who has traveled or contracted the virus, please call us to reschedule your appointment.
